I'd say the Kickboxer sequels are worse if only for the creative decision they made.

Let's kill off the two brothers and introduce a third brother to avenge them. You know, after the two brothers explicitly stated in the first film they're the only members of their family who are still alive.

Bloodsport 2 kept the focus on the tournament and had Jackson return in a similar supporting role. Simple and to the point without ruining the feel-good ending of the first film.

For quality, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

I actually liked Bloodsport 2.
3 and 4, not so much.

They lack the simple charm of the original though. Not even The Quest could truly recapture what the original Bloodsport had despite the improved fights and superior production values.

If the Ghostbusters ever gets another remake (or possibly a spinoff which ignores the remake), I'd like to see it done in the vein of The Real Ghostbusters. You can't top the original for comedy, but you can go for a legit horror approach and still have some fun with it.

Good talent, but the guitar had more charisma than he did.

When a character is literally called Boobs by a teammate, it does become an important feature. It's kind of like if a character called Blondie suddenly had red hair. Hair color isn't an important trait for most characters, but it is if your character is named/nicknamed for it.

All*Stars is great if you don't have access to an NES, but I have to rule in favor of the originals. Some of the graphical updates are nice, but the music is butchered. And why did they change the kings from Super Mario Bros. 3?

The GBA games take it a step further by adding unnecessary voices (which feel completely detached from the games themselves) and for replacing the second Triclyde fight with a robot. Really?

I feel guilty about eating pigs since they match the smartest dogs for intelligence. But bacon smells good and sausage is delicious.

The only thing I remember about that show is that one episode ended with the guy's friend flirting with space furries.

Tifa's more likely to be flat chested in the remake than to be referred to as "Boobs" by any member of the team.

Do you kill off the character or make them a villain to give in to the audience's spite? Do you try and downplay their annoying qualities and attempt to redeem them? Or do you quietly write them off and never mention them again even though the Internet will be calling for that character's blood 20 years later?

There was nothing forced about their inclusion. They felt like a species which would exist in the Star Wars universe and they were one of the many things George Lucas lifted from the Flash Gordon film serials. The second one had a tribe of little people who lived in trees.

It is annoying to see an army defeated with sticks and rocks, but there's nothing really that bad about the ewoks themselves. Hell, I'd bring them back and market them like the Star Wars version of Minions. Even without the marketing possibilities, I'd still bring them back just to rub it in the faces of the EU crowd members who want Star Wars to be dark and edgy.

I kinda liked the bounce mechanics in Super Mario Land. I wouldn't want it that one in the console series, but I think that should've carried over into the second handheld game.

An hour of unbroken action, followed by a solid five minutes of Mega Man trying to reach that damned ladder.

Mega Man seems like an ideal fit for a movie. It has a futuristic setting, likable characters, and an interesting premise in which you use the weapons of defeated adversaries against forthcoming opponents.

But just look at the game mechanics for a moment.

You use trial and error to figure out the weaknesses of 8 robot masters and map out your course for the best order in which to defeat them. Afterward, you fight them all a second time before challenging Dr. Wily or Sigma. How do you put that in a movie? Do you condense the number of robot masters for 8 to 4? Do you start en media res with 5 of the 8 masters already defeated? Or do you just have a whopping number of boss fights against 8 themed characters and their leader?

Even dropping the reconstructed boss fights, you are looking at a tremendous overhaul of action for just one movie. Most games can be beaten within 2 hours if you're experienced, but that omits the trial and error aspect and it ignores tiny film annoyances like plot and characterization.

I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but there would heavy sacrifices to be made no matter which route you took in translating that to a movie.

I don't really have an ethnic preference. I have preferred body types and preferred hair types.

Black women who adopt European hairstyles might be my favorite. I'm not sure because there are women of other backgrounds who are equally amazing. But that is a consistently stellar look and I don't care what people have to say about my preferences in that regard.

I beat Mike Tyson. I felt no satisfaction in it though because

A) I had to look up the fact that you have to dodge his punches for a solid minute and a half.

B) I felt I should've beaten the game 15 years earlier.

Great game, but how was anyone ever supposed to figure out that you do nothing but dodge for the first half of the first round? That's some CastleVania II bullshit. They really were plugging the Nintendo Fun Club on that one.

Original power isn't necessary. They just need their own identity.

I never saw the Harry Potter movies. I was never attracted to Hermoine. But I always respected Emma Watson's stance on feminism. She's an advocate for women and I applaud her for being proactive about something she believes in.

I don't know what current Emma means, if she's gotten more radical with time or anything like that, but I like what I've seen up until now. She seems like somebody that would be easy to get along with if you and her were in the same field, y'know?
